Corrugated stainless steel sheet

Corrugated stainless steel sheet is hot rolled with one smooth side and the other corrugated. The price of a stainless steel sheet is determined depending on the steel grade of the finished product, as well as its thickness.

Specification

This group of sheet metal products is regulated by state standards 16523-89 and 14637-89. The price for stainless steel corrugated sheet is calculated per unit of standardized dimensions.

These are sheets with dimensions of 1000-1250 mm in width and 2000-2500 mm in length. The sheet thickness depends on the steel grade used. Allowed nominal thickness from 1.0 mm to 6.0 mm.

Surfaces

The patterned surface has several varieties, which are formed by riffles at different angles to each other. For example, a lentil sheet is made with grooves spaced from each other at a distance of 20 to 30 mm with a step of 5 mm. The height of the convex elements is approximately 0.2 of the thickness of the base with a minimum tolerance of half a millimeter.

Consumer properties

Stainless sheet, price which belongs to the average cost category, resistant to oxidative processes. It is durable thanks to the steel component, it tolerates temperature extremes, frost or heat well, is plastic and has an acceptable appearance. To change the properties of the product, different steel grades are used, listed below.

Stainless sheet steel grades:

1. AISI grade 304 - hygiene, corrosion resistance and attractive appearance made this steel grade universal.
2. AISI Grade 316 - Updated version 304 with molybdenum component and high nickel content. Designed for use in aggressive environments (chloride, crevice corrosion, sea water, acetic acid, etc.) at humidity and elevated temperatures.
3. AISI grade 201 - excellent weldability, ductile in terms of stretching and deformation. Amenable to polishing to an almost mirror finish.
4. AISI grade 430 - high resistance to sulfur-containing environments.

Common applications

Due to its low carbon content, corrugated stainless steel sheet at the price of the middle range is highly resistant to external natural and aggressive environments, which determines its application in the following areas:
As a floor or flooring - in household construction, chemical and food industries, as well as in production halls;
As a fence in stairs, spans, steps, decorative elements;
In mechanical engineering and automotive industry in gray
