Chimney classification
Chimneys can be classified in many different ways, but perhaps the easiest way to do this is by describing the materials from which they are made:
1. Brick. Such chimneys have been built since time immemorial and have proven their usefulness. The downsides are the long time spent on heating the pipe, as well as the complex installation, or rather the layout;
2. Stainless steel. This material began to be used for the manufacture of chimneys relatively recently. The stainless steel heats up quickly, does not lend itself to corrosion, and also perfectly copes with all the necessary functions that are inherent in a full-fledged chimney. Installation can be carried out on any heating devices;
3. Galvanized steel. It differs from stainless steel only in that condensate and environmental influences still contribute to the development of corrosion, of course, this does not happen immediately, but several years after the installation of the product. The advantage of galvanized steel as a material for the chimney is its low cost.
