Experts threw a brand new smartphone apple iphone xs 64gb space gray onto the sidewalk to find out how strong the glass is on both sides.
Phil Schiller, Apple's head of marketing, said last week that the iPhone XS is "covered in the front and back with a new shape of glass, which is the most durable glass available on any smartphone.
To be clear, these tests are not scientific, but they do represent a real-life demonstration of what can happen when your phone hits the asphalt. Results tend to vary from drop to drop.
The experiment began with a fall from a pocket height or about 90 cm. This is a natural height from which people tend to injure their phones. The same drop last year caused the iPhone X to crack in an experiment.
But in this case, our iPhone XS looked intact on first inspection, save for a few scratches on the metal frame. But upon closer inspection, I noticed that the big "damage" was cement debris that was immediately erased. The glass on the edge of the screen near the top left corner had a tiny dent, but it was barely noticeable and there were no cracks on either side.
This isn't the first time we've heard from Apple that the iPhone comes with “the most durable glass ever used in a smartphone,” and you know what happened to our iPhone X. what's last year.
Considering that last year's iPhone X was already broken during the fall, we can say that this is already a victory for our iPhone XS.
