PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" is the largest taxpayer in Ukraine in the mining and metallurgical complex

Kryvyi Rih, April 20, 2017 The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has identified the TOP-100 largest taxpayers of Ukraine for 2016. The rating was published in the official publication of the State Social Fund "Visnik".

The leaders in terms of the volume of tax payments were determined according to the sectoral principle - the oil and gas industry, the electric power industry, metallurgy, the banking sector, the tobacco industry, and the communications sector.

The first place among the enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex in terms of the amount of taxes and fees paid was taken by PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih".

In 2016, only direct tax revenues from the enterprise to the budget amounted to almost UAH 2.4 billion, of which UAH 1.6 billion. - tax payments to the state budget, UAH 780 million. - to local budgets, incl. UAH 619 million - to the city budget of Krivoy Rog (taking into account the distribution of tax revenues between local budgets).

In addition, in 2016 the company transferred UAH 555 million. a single social contribution and almost UAH 3.4 billion. value added tax on imports of fuels, raw materials and supplies. Thus, the total amount of cash payments of the enterprise to the budget and extra-budgetary trust funds in 2016. amounted to more than UAH 6.3 billion.

Over the past ten years, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih transferred over UAH 28 billion to the state. taxes and fees, which is about 10 annual budgets of the city of Krivoy Rog. In 2007-2016. the company paid more than UAH 4 billion. tax payments to the budget of Krivoy Rog, as well as more than UAH 12 billion. payroll taxes and more than UAH 2 billion. - taxes on land.

In 2016, a significant part of the revenues to the country's budget was provided by TOP-100 enterprises, the total amount of contributions to which amounted to UAH 231.7 billion, which is 32% (UAH 74 billion) more than in 2015.
