For many years Cherepovets Pipe-Rolling Plant has been specializing in the manufacture of various types of pipes from galvanized and stainless steel, as well as ferrous metal. Longitudinal electric-welded pipes are particularly durable, which are used where special technical requirements apply to them.
Longitudinal-seam square pipe can be manufactured using the cold-rolled method, which involves the transverse bending of a metal sheet of the required thickness with further joint welding. If carbon steel is used for the production of pipes, then the method of high-frequency welding is chosen for it, for the rest of the grades, plasma, laser and electric arc welding are suitable. In any of these cases, a strong and reliable weld is obtained, which improves the strength characteristics of the product.
Similar products are used for the manufacture of metal furniture, exercise equipment, but it has become especially in demand in the production of greenhouses. Galvanized square pipe is ideal for making the frame, and the anti-corrosion treatment and the galvanizing method protect it from rust, which can occur in high humidity conditions, which is often found in greenhouses and conservatories. Such greenhouses do not require a foundation, as contact with the ground will not damage the quality of the frame.
Welded welded pipes are produced only at the factory, using special pipe-rolling complexes for this, each of which includes units designed for cutting steel sheets into strips of a certain width, as well as equipment that rolls the future pipe. Thanks to modern welding machines, which are used by Cherepovets Pipe-Rolling Plant , the seam is practically invisible. The name "longitudinal" similar pipes was received due to the fact that the edges of the metal strip are welded in a straight line. It is strictly forbidden to bend this type of metal structures, as this may compromise the integrity of the product.
The cross-section of the pipes can vary, and the larger it is, the greater the wall thickness. After leaving the conveyor, longitudinal electric-welded products are tested, including ultrasonic testing, RTKK of the welded seam and hydrotesting. All products of the Cherepovets Pipe-Rolling Plant are certified.
