Today there are two main types of underfloor heating. They differ, as the name implies, in the source of heating. In electric underfloor heating, heating is carried out in a cable system created by low voltage. Such floors perfectly regulate their temperature using electronic thermostats and consume a small amount of electricity.
Another type of underfloor heating is a water underfloor heating. Warm floors become a full-fledged heating system and are connected to central risers. Unlike electric, a water-heated floor can be made over the entire area of the room, including the space under furniture and carpets. The only disadvantage of such a floor is the significant cost of the materials used, which is not surprising, because if this system leaks, the consequences can be the most sad, both for the owner of the floor and for his neighbor from below.
