Fluoroplastic sheet: properties, marking principles and application

Fluoroplastic (sheet) is one of the varieties of the chemical material produced - Teflon, also called fluoroplastic - 4. A great variety of elements and parts that are used in industry and construction are made from it.

Fluoroplastic was in great demand due to its exceptional performance and material properties:

Marking Principles

The cost of fluoroplastic sheet, depending on the marking and the selected manufacturer, can vary significantly. In order to correctly determine the type of Teflon, you need to know the principles of labeling used by manufacturers:

• F-40 (ideal for creating pump-type seals and pipeline lining);

• F-4D (these thin plates are used to create hoses, pipes and insulation elements);

• F-4P (film material, which is used as an electrical insulating and capacitor film);

• F-4PN (plates that have a high degree of reliability);

• F-4A (in demand in the creation and maintenance of high-tech products with precise dimensions);

• Ф-4Т (these thick plates are used for the manufacture of thick-walled parts and pipelines.

Applications

The uniqueness of the technical characteristics allows the use of teflon sheet in various industries, from the food and chemical industry and medicine, and ending with electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
