War stories are always terrifying in their cruel truthfulness, touch the strings of the soul. Sometimes a war film is able to show all sides of the war, without embellishing or hiding the then reality, and even awaken patriotism in some. The beginning of the war, summer 1941, the Germans attack. The main character, Lieutenant Suvorov, a former graduate of the school, arrives on June 21 at the indicated place, and on the morning of June 22, he discovers that the whole regiment fled, and the regiment commanders were the first to start running. The hero Suvorov, not bewildered and taking himself in hand, rises to defend his hometown, from which the frightened residents flee, and those who remain continue to live, but in fear and in ignorance. Having rebuffed a group of Germans, a small detachment of Suvorov perked up, but the war had just begun, and this was its first manifestation.

But Anna does not reciprocate and does not take his courtship seriously. The beginning of the war made the protagonists grow up dramatically and look at loved ones differently. Then the love affair of Suvorov and Anna begins.

The film Lieutenant Suvorov evokes patriotic emotions and a desire to say: Glory to the heroes and their eternal memory !; after all, in this film, as in the reality of the last war, it is shown how they stood to death and sheltered their native land literally with their own bodies. A small detachment of Suvorov also perished, blocking the only road from the city and standing, hugging the Germans, giving the last inhabitants an opportunity to evacuate. At the end of the film, a question was made to the commander, one of the survivors: "Where are we now?"
