The housing issue can be solved by forming a housing construction cooperative. To organize it, it is enough to gather at least 5 participants, and members of the housing cooperative can be individuals (who have reached 16 years of age) and legal entities.
The expediency of creation lies in the following points:
- Those wishing to acquire their own housing take part in the construction with their own funds, combining them and without resorting to the mediation of commercial organizations that charge interest for their participation.
- A significant advantage is that the housing cooperative does not pay income tax.
Thus, the cost per square meter of housing, in our case, is significantly cheaper in comparison, even with the currently widespread mortgage. For many people who, for various reasons, may not have access to a mortgage, joining a housing cooperative can be a solution to their housing problem. Members participate in the construction of housing with their own funds, and after putting the finished housing into operation, they own the area in an apartment building in proportion to the share contribution. relative to the total amount of the mutual fund.
Also, members of the housing cooperative participate in the maintenance of housing belonging to the cooperative after the completion of its construction, are responsible for its condition and the condition of the adjacent territory, communications, equipment, technical equipment of the house.
Registration of this institution is carried out in much the same way as LLC registration . To organize a housing cooperative, it is necessary to organize a meeting at which, by voting, a decision on the creation of a cooperative is adopted and drawn up by the Minutes of the meeting; develop and formalize the Charter, which should reflect the following points:

- The purpose of creation and the subject of the cooperative
- Rights and obligations of members of the cooperative,
- The procedure for joining and leaving the housing cooperative,

- Amount, composition and procedure for making shares by members of the institution,
- Responsibility of members of the cooperative,
- Governing body and supervisory body - functions, composition, decision-making procedure.
The supreme governing body of the cooperative is the general meeting of the members of the housing cooperative. From the moment of registration, the cooperative is considered to be created. Creation proceeds in the same way as company registration .
