If we present the design in a simplified way, the body and the cover of the valve form a space that fills the working medium under working pressure. There is a shutter inside. It carries out movement perpendicular to the axis of the medium passage in the body, thanks to the work of the spindle or stem. The ends of the body provide a connection between the valve and the pipeline.

The control valves provide certain parameters of the working medium, namely, it sets the flow rate of the medium, set pressure, mixing proportions, liquid level and some others. The operation is carried out by changing the flow through the flow area. In various conditions, it is advisable to use certain types of control of control valves, such as external energy sources, automatic control and using sensors.
