The largest metallurgical company ArcelorMittal took a leading position in the TOP-50 best employers according to students

ArcelorMittal was included in the TOP-50 of the most attractive companies for employment in Poland and South Africa according to the results of an annual survey among students from various countries. The survey was conducted by the consulting company Universum.

Universum has compiled ratings of companies that students consider ideal for starting their careers. The survey took into account the preferences of students in the field of business, information technology and technical development, as well as the humanities and, in some countries, legal activity.

Over the past few years, students have become increasingly inclined to get jobs at a company that guarantees employment and a global career, preferring to be hired by multinationals, according to the Universum report.

Poland

This year, 25,500 students took part in the Polish Universum survey. The metallurgical company ArcelorMittal Poland was ranked 14th out of 100 companies in the category of production and technical direction.

Thus, the company has moved up 17 places since last year's poll, overtaking such companies as Skanska, KGHM (copper mining), PGE (the state-owned Polish energy group), which were in the top three. In addition, consumer giants Samsung Electronics Polska, Volvo Group and Nestle remained behind ArcelorMittal.

“Our expanded local internship offer not only helps develop the talents and abilities of young people, but also gives ArcelorMittal an influx of bright, young minds who gain insight into the company and in turn want to work for us after graduation,” says Monika Roznerska. HR Director, ArcelorMittal Poland.
