Rigging is a system of processes designed to lift various cargo for subsequent unloading or loading. The most typical area of application of this type of work is the transportation of industrial equipment, special mechanisms and devices. It is perhaps impossible to imagine a healthy operation of the metallurgical complex without rigging.
Rigging is a necessary part of the metal rolling production process, the process of transporting finished products. In order to optimize the conduct of these processes, a wide range of various special equipment is used in the shops of metallurgical plants and plants. There are many mechanisms for providing rigging services . The most common mechanisms are different types of cranes; depending on the nature of the rigging work, they can be equipped with narrowly focused units of the working part, can be either partially or fully automated.
The most common types of cranes are electromagnetic cranes, which are practical, reliable, high lifting capacity; they are easy and inexpensive to maintain.
Clamshell cranes are also irreplaceable when carrying out rigging in the metallurgical industry. This type of crane is used when working with such bulk material as coal, which is used in the production of sinter. In addition, these machines are used to grip scrap metal, and then unload the material.
Pratz taps are very often used. These units are a type of bridge cranes, they are designed to perform a fairly wide profile of activities in the rigging process. These machines have a high degree of mobility, since they move along the rail tracks, which are by all means present in every metallurgical complex. Thanks to the use of pratset cranes, the cost of work is significantly reduced, however, at the same time, their efficiency is increased by an order of magnitude.
