Balls are the main rolling element. The material of the part is selected based on the requirements for the bearing. Mostly steel. This configuration allows to reduce frictional losses during rotation of mating parts. Some models have a reinforced structure to withstand heavy mechanical loads.
A standard bearing consists of several parts:
- rolling bodies;
- inner, outer ferrules;
- separator;
- caps to insulate the interior (optional).
