Lifting equipment is present not only at the construction site. A wide variety of cranes can be found in everyday life in all places. The most common construction is overhead crane . Its relatively simple layout and the ability to lift and move significant loads have made it popular in industrial warehouses and manufacturing plants.
Control Feature
Small installations with a lifting capacity of up to 10 tons and with a remote control panel from the floor have the simplest control system. The presence of the remote control simplifies the reliability of fastening the load, allows you to accurately move it on the site. In addition, there are other important advantages of this approach:
1. It is enough to pass a skill test at the enterprise for a person to be allowed to operate such a crane.
2. There is no need to register it with the authorities.
3. The remote control and its connection are much cheaper than alternative control methods.
4. In some cases, radio control is allowed on such lifting installations.
It does not matter whether a button or joystick will be in a person's hand. The first option is much easier to perform, and if necessary, it is very easy to repair. The joystick is intuitive, and allows you to very accurately move loads across the littered area.
Power supplies
No matter how good and convenient an overhead crane is, it will not work without power. There are two ways to connect the system. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The main thing is to choose what will best correspond to the level of security in an open or closed area.
Daisy chain cable systems are loosely hanging rings of live cable that extend behind the crane girder. The cable is suspended on a separately hanging string (cable), so that its length with a margin is sufficient for the crane. Alternatively, you can use a C-profile with rollers or I-beams.
Trolley lines require less exposed power cable. But, the approach has one drawback, it is not recommended to use it in open areas. Difficult weather conditions can negatively affect its performance.
