So, first, let's define what is rolled metal . In metallurgy, these are various types of products obtained by cold, warm or hot rolling by means of various rolling mills.
Rolled metal can be divided into several types:

Special-purpose rental (railway rails for different gauge, tram rails, all kinds of profiles for agricultural machinery and shipbuilding, electrical industry and oil industry).
The section of long products is divided by size into large: round steel (with a diameter of 80-250 mm), square steel (with a side size of 70-200 mm), reinforcing periodic sections No. 70-80, angle steel (with a shelf width of 90-250 mm) , conventional and lightweight I-beams (360-600 mm high), channels, special wide-flange and column profiles (up to 1000 mm high), hexagonal steel (up to No. 100), steel strip (up to 250 mm wide), railway rails (reaching weight 43-75 kg per 1 m of length) and so on.
On the middle: a steel circle (32-75 mm in diameter), a steel square (with a side dimension of 32-65 mm), a steel hexagon (up to No. 70), channels (with a height of 100-300 mm), periodic steel reinforcement profile (No. 32 -60), I-beams (up to 300 mm high), strips (up to 8x145 mm), narrow-gauge railway rails (Р18-Р24), various shaped profiles for different industries.
Small: square steel (with a side of 8-10 mm), round steel (10-30 mm in diameter), periodic reinforcement profile (No. 6-28), angle steel (with a shelf width of 20-50 mm), channels (No. 5 -8), steel hexagon (up to No. 30), steel strip (up to 60 mm wide), various shaped profiles for industry purposes of various sizes.
Also, rolled products are distinguished by types of surface treatment, which are divided into matte, mirror, polished and calibrated.
