The compressor is one of the irreplaceable types of equipment used in a wide variety of industries. At the base of the frame there is a container for oil, its upper part is equipped with hatches through which service and repairs are carried out. The hatches are hermetically sealed with steel covers.
- The cylinders included in the apparatus are of different diameters. They have two distinct functions. They are attached to the frame with special lugs.
- Steel crankshaft mounted on bearings. The connecting rods can be attached to it using cranks. Before starting the electric motor, it is necessary to turn the shaft with the handle.
- The design includes a discharge and a suction valve.
Compressor 2VM4-27 /9 is equipped with a gas cooling system presented in the form of shell-and-tube devices of cylindrical shape, a water-cooling, open-loop system, regulated by a valve ... The lubrication of the cylinders and the base in the compressor is carried out by two different systems, independent of each other: systems with low and correspondingly high pressure. The first of them supplies lubricant through the hatch to the lower section of the frame, the second to the cylinders, through the lubricator.
In Russia, the 2VM4-27 /9 compressor is produced by the Krasnodar Compressor Plant, founded in 1952. The plant manufactured its first compressor under the B300-2k brand in February 1953. Today, the list of products of the Compressor Plant includes dozens of high-tech and reliable equipment, including lubrication stations, air collectors, gas coolers, compressors and other equipment.
