Plastic windows, also called "euro-windows" or PVC profile windows, are of two types: blind and with sashes.

It also includes various dyes, stabilizers, etc. The included window sills are made of plastic, which has a negative effect on their strength. So it is better not to try to stand on them if you suddenly want to fix the cornice. Window sills differ only in color, as well as frames.
Drainage is a sheet metal, painted with an electroplating method and bent on special equipment. Glazing beads are made of the same plastic as the profiles, and they may not be simple, but curly. The thickness of the glazing bead depends on the thickness of the glass unit.
The reinforcement inside the frame is a horseshoe-shaped reinforcing metal that is attached with self-drilling screws inside the frame.
Currently, there are opinions that plastic insulating glass units have a detrimental effect on health.
In fact, these opinions are mostly unfounded, as PVC is resistant to the environment. It is very long lasting and does not emit any harmful compounds. The only harm can only be from the combustion of this element, while high toxicity organochlorine compounds are released.
Prices for double-glazed windows of this sample vary widely depending on the size, type, width of the chamber and, of course, from the manufacturer. The average price for a plastic window with sashes, with two chambers, measuring 1.00 * 1.50 m, with a chamber width of 31-36 mm - $ 100, and a single-chamber window with a chamber width of 24-28 mm of the same dimensions - $ 75.
