Steel shut-off valves

Стальная запорная арматура

Shut-off valves are a series of devices that supply, adjust, and are used to shut off various media. Devices used in shut-off valves are distinguished by their design features: the way of adjusting the flow and the ability to pass. Shut-off valves of various designs have been used in plumbing systems. These systems often use pressure regulators and reducers to vary the fluid pressure.

Pressure regulators maintain the pressure at a set level to regulate and equalize the pressure in various water supply systems. According to the principle of operation, water pressure regulators are conventionally divided into dynamic and static.

The reducer used in water supply systems serves to increase or decrease, as well as stabilize the pressure of the supplied fluid. Reducing water pressure outwardly looks like a sealed metal device with inlet and outlet, in some versions with a threaded hole for a manometer. The principle of operation is based on the alignment of the built-in diaphragm by means of an adjustment spring.

Both of these devices are necessary in plumbing systems to avoid water hammer and the harmful effects of intermittent pressure. According to the connection method, they can be threaded and flanged. Equipped with cleaning screens, a kind of coarse filter. They have a different flow capacity, depending on the requirements for the fittings. The water pressure regulation range can be from 1.5 to 16 bar. The highest pressure at the inlet to the device is from 16 to 25 bar.
