The operation of water fire extinguishing systems is based on fire protection of residential, industrial, office and retail space, as well as underground and multi-storey car parks. Such systems are used in private homes, often installed in cottages, cities, saunas, garages, and so on. Today, water fire extinguishing systems are most effective, as they are automatically triggered under any circumstances, which ensures one hundred percent safety of the property.
Sprinkler fire extinguishing systems
Install automatic (sprinkler) fire extinguishing depending on the air temperature in the room. Installations are usually divided into several types:
1 ) The first type is water-filled, they are used in places where the air temperature is at least 5 degrees Celsius. Such installations include piping filled with an aqueous solution or water and sensors: open (visible) or hidden sprinklers. Such systems are used most often at various sites.
2 ) Air. These installations are used less often, where heating is not provided, for example, hangars, warehouses, and so on. Air installations are used only if the room temperature is lower than 5 degrees Celsius.
These installations are made taking into account the following features:
- The pipeline of the pumping station is filled with an aqueous solution or water. The other part of the system is filled with nitrogen or liquid air (depending on the manufacturer).
- Sprinkler sprinklers are installed exclusively with the rosette facing up.
- The location of the pumping station is also very important. It should only be in a heated room.
