Note that this process has many advantages, as the legislator expected, and disadvantages.

The advantage of self-regulators is obvious - they can significantly reduce the number of unscrupulous developers working on the market. Thus, the construction market in Russia has stabilized.
This provision has become quite possible due to the fact that the SRO has made very high, very strict requirements for its own candidates, which each participant must meet.
Joining an energy audit SRO for Moscow companies today is a fairly simple procedure. Another advantage will be that when joining self-regulatory organizations, there are grounds for centralized and effective management of the company's activities. Thus, the competitiveness of the companies presented on the market will develop, and the quality of finished objects, rather than their quantity, will significantly increase.
This process is a consequence of the participation of each member of a self-regulatory organization in matters of the company's activities, the ability to influence the economic state of the modern construction market.
There are also disadvantages to the SRO system - and, it should be noted, they are very, very serious. Perhaps the most important issue was, is and remains the availability of large enough financial resources for the company, which must be transferred to the self-regulatory organization as a membership fee and as an entrance fee. Among other things, it will be necessary to give a lot of money to the compensation fund, from which they will be withdrawn, if necessary, to compensate for the damage caused by the actions of one of the SRO members.
For the most part, newly created firms, in principle, do not have the funds that are necessary to participate in a self-regulatory organization. The material factor - it is he and nothing else that can prevent a young company from becoming a full-fledged member of an SRO.
