The Kaliningrad enterprise BMK has launched a plasma cutting machine

At the end of October this year, the Kaliningrad enterprise LLC "Baltic Metallurgical Company" plans to launch innovative technical equipment, a plasma cutting machine for sheet metal.

For the productivity of the metalworking workshop, this will be a real breakthrough, since this modernized equipment will be able to cut sheets of any complexity. A high-tech plasma cutting machine is equipped with a modular digital programming system, which makes it possible to produce high-precision cutting of rolled metal according to the most non-linear drawings.

For the successful operation of innovative technology, you just need to create a drawing using AutoCAD, Compass, Corel Draw and add it to the control panel. About the same is going on today improvement of the territory of St. Petersburg , which is carefully planned with the help of computer technology. Plasma metal cutting machine is fully automated. The process of metal rolling processing occurs without additional human intervention, except for feeding and unloading.

The universal unit is equipped with two torches, which makes it possible to cut sheets with both plasma and gas. When switching the cutting modes from plasma to gas, there is a change in the size range of the processed thicknesses. Also, the modernized equipment has a universal ability to process different types of metal (aluminum, stainless steel, lithium), and not just black.

A working area has already been prepared for starting the new unit. The only thing left to do is to conduct training and education of all responsible employees of the metallurgical shop who will work in this area.
