Tata Steel has decided to build a £ 25 million solar park that will provide green energy for all of Tata Steel's operations in Scunthorpe, UK. The solar power plant is currently under development.
Solar project company Kinectic Solar has been allocated 190 acres of land adjacent to Raventhrope Farm in Broughton to build a solar power plant.
After news of the possible sale of the Scunthorpe steel plant emerged, the director of Kinetic Solar said that the solar plant could solve some of the plant's problems by supplying the steel company's internal needs with energy, as well as reduce carbon emissions through free and renewable sources. The project will reduce energy costs.
In a statement, the director of Kinetic Solar clarified that the solar project, which will be implemented by the company, will be able to provide up to 38 MW of renewable electricity at metallurgical facilities. In addition to this, the establishment of the project will also contribute to a number of economic benefits for the region.
A huge number of employees will be involved in the work on the project, including the construction of a solar power plant. In addition, during the construction of the power facility, many materials will be sourced from local industries, including steel alloy products. The implementation of the project will give a new impetus to the industrial development of the region.
Closed Joint Stock Company "Altai Energy Means" (CJSC "ALSEN") offers supplies of high quality power generating equipment with a capacity of up to 0.5 MW. Highly efficient diesel generators and diesel power plants , as well as mobile diesel electric installations will be indispensable as backup power supplies in shops and supermarkets, and can also be used as the main supplier of electricity in the country or in a cottage community.
