Chinese metallurgists announced price cuts for HRC and CRC

Chinese steelmakers, including Hebei and Shougang, announced price reductions for hot and cold rolled products in April this year.

According to the price list published by Hebei Steel, the prices for HRC and CRC in the domestic market will be reduced by 100 RMB per tonne. In addition, there will be a decrease in the price of medium plates by 200 yuan per ton. Hot galvanized steel sheet prices will be reduced by 200 RMB per tonne for April tempering. 1 USD = 6.19635 CNY (RMB)

Average prices of 14-20mm Q235 will drop 200 yuan per ton in April. The proposed price is currently RMB 2750 per ton. Hot rolled SGH340 galvanized steel sheets with a thickness of 3 mm will be offered at RMB 4150 per tonne. CGCC 0.47mm PPGI coil offer prices will remain unchanged at RMB 6150 per tonne.

Meanwhile, Shougang has announced a decline of 200-250 yuan per ton at CRC prices. According to the latest announced prices, SPCC CRC with a thickness of 1 mm will cost RMB 3600 per tonne. The price of medium sheets will remain unchanged. The average price of Q235 slabs with a thickness of 14-20 mm will be 3400 RMB per tonne, while Q345 low-alloy slabs with a thickness of 14-20 mm will be 3570 RMB per tonne. In addition, the company's prices for 14mm-20mm Q245R steel plates will be 3520 RMB per ton. The price of the Q345R plates will be 3590 RMB per ton.
