World steel production in February 2015 slightly increased year on year

World crude steel production for the 65 countries reported by the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) was 128 million tonnes in February 2015, up 0.6 percent from February 2014.

Worldsteel reports that the crude steel capacity utilization rate for 65 countries in February 2015 was 73.4 percent. This is 1.7 percentage points lower than in February 2014 and 3.8 percentage points higher than in January 2015.
