China's Automobile Parts Holding has signed an agreement with Malaysian SRI Elastomers to build the world's most modern tire recycling plant. The new enterprise will be able to recycle used tires and other rubber waste largely thanks to the modern automation system by the technical process ( ACS TP ) and advanced technologies.
The recycler will use SRI's patented devulcanization technology, which ensures zero-waste production as 100 percent of the tire material can then be reused in tires and other rubber products. SRI Elastomers technology allows the production of new tires, auto parts and other products, saving on raw materials and reducing costs.
The plant will have an initial production capacity of 10,000 tons per year with the ability to upgrade and add multiple modules based on demand. The initial investment is estimated at about $ 800,000.
