Global aluminum production continues to grow - IAI

Global aluminum production has continued its upward trend since the end of last year, according to statistics from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI). Even considering that production declined slightly in April, output started to rise strongly from May.

China and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) remain the largest suppliers in total global production. They also play an important role in the annual global aluminum production. In total primary aluminum production, China produces almost half of the world's aluminum output, according to IAI data.
