Kazakhstan is ready to supply Ukraine with the necessary 200-300 thousand tons of coal per month. A delegation from Ukraine is expected to visit Kazakhstan soon, according to First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Sagintayev, at a meeting of the joint intergovernmental Ukrainian-Kazakhstani commission on economic cooperation in Kiev.
Kazakhstan is also ready to ship thermal coal and coke. This issue was raised last year. A visit of the Ukrainian delegation to discuss the details of the supplies is expected in the near future. For Kazakhstan, the volume of deliveries of 200-300 thousand tons is real, and Sagintayev clarified that work is already underway in this direction.
