Norilsk Nickel summed up the results of the safety unit for the first half of the year

At an expanded meeting of the heads of Norilsk Nickel's security departments, the results of the first half of 2015 were summed up. The meeting was chaired by Vladislav Gasumyanov, Vice President and Head of the Security Block. According to the established tradition, along with representatives of the management of the enterprises of the group, employees of the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation took part in the event.

They discussed topical issues of corporate security in terms of implementing the provisions of the concept of an integrated security system for the company. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the results achieved due to the transition of the security structures of the mining and metallurgical complex from the linear-object to the program-target principle of work in the field of ensuring economic, corporate, information, object and transport security.

This transition made it possible to optimize the material and human resources of the Block and focus on solving the tasks facing it. For the first time, the divisions of the Block reported on the execution of 31 current target programs to protect the interests of the company. During the implementation of the programs, their effectiveness was confirmed, and the positive experience gained was generalized. In the field of ensuring economic security, the effect of the Bloc's activities in financial terms amounted to more than 1.5 billion rubles.

It was emphasized at the meeting that the achieved indicators were the result of constructive interaction of the Security Block with the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, the Investigative Committee, the FCS and other law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments of the Russian Federation. The methodology and experience of public-private partnerships acquired by the Security Block in the implementation of joint projects, such as the construction of the Bystrinsky GOK, the development of the Taimyr mineral resource base, international cooperation programs, are relevant for all security departments of the company and should be the subject of study and application in its structures. ...

During the meeting, the leadership of the Block highly appreciated the work of the security structures, carried out jointly with law enforcement agencies, to ensure events in Moscow, Norilsk and Monchegorsk during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Norilsk Nickel.

At the meeting, a critical analysis of the half-year results was carried out and specific tasks of the Security Block were formulated, the priority of which will be the further implementation of the provisions of the updated strategy of Norilsk Nickel and the Concept of an integrated security system, improvement of measures to protect the interests of the company in the context of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the economic and social sphere
