According to the latest statistics from the World Steel Association, steel production in 65 countries that reported to the Association totaled 135.594 million tonnes in June this year. Monthly output was down 2.4 percent from June last year. These 65 countries accounted for approximately 98 percent of the world's total crude steel production in 2014.
