A tin mining and processing plant will be commissioned in the Ayyrtausk region of northern Kazakhstan in 2018. This issue was approved at the session of the regional coordination council.
The coordinating council with the participation of the governor of the region of northern Kazakhstan, Erik Sultanov, recommended including the project of the Syrymbet mining and processing plant in the national industrialization program.
The project cost is 10 billion tenge (53.1 million dollars). The plant will produce up to 6,000 tons of tin and concentrates. To ensure production, it is planned to create more than 500 jobs.
