China's export shipments of flat stainless steel products were down 28.2 percent year on year during July 2015. Chinese customs data showed that China exported 216,786 tonnes of stainless steel flat products in July, up from 301,969 tonnes in the same period last year. In addition, the July exports are lower than the export volume of 219,279 tons in June this year.
During the reporting period, Taiwan was the main importer of stainless steel products from China. Taiwan bought 50,095 tons of stainless flat steel in July, down 2.6 percent year on year. South Korea imported 50,065 tonnes of stainless flat products from China in July, up from 45,674 tonnes the previous month.
During the first months, China's exports of stainless steel flat products reached 1.5 million tonnes, down 20.5 percent year on year.
