The Russian Ministry of Defense has called it "complete nonsense" allegations that the Russian Air Force is allegedly striking the positions of the Syrian opposition.
"This is complete nonsense, which has no factual basis," Major General Igor Konashenkov, an official spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, said on Friday.
As reported in the Russian defense department, over the past day, the aircraft of the Russian air group Su-34, Su-24m and Su-25 made 18 sorties at 12 targets of the ISIS terrorist group in Syria.
There were 10 sorties made during the night. Precise strikes were delivered to 7 terrorist targets.
As a result of direct hits, the command post and communications center of the ISIS armed formations in the DAR-TAAZZA region, Aleppo province were destroyed.
Recall that today the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a joint statement by the governments of France, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Great Britain and the United States calling on Russia to "stop attacks on the Syrian opposition" and focus its efforts on combating IS, and the United States said that Russian bombs are falling anywhere but on Islamic State terrorists.
