October 5, Moscow. The finance ministers of Russia and Ukraine will meet on October 8 in Peru during the G20 summit. At dinner, Anton Siluanov and Natalya Yaresko will talk about Ukraine's debts to Russia, the Russian Finance Ministry said on Monday.
According to the Russian official, the Russian Federation expects Ukraine to repay a debt of 3 billion US dollars by the end of this year, despite the order adopted on September 22 by Arseniy Yatsenyuk's cabinet to begin the procedure for restructuring part of the public debt and to suspend payments on a number of restructured obligations from September 23.
According to the Irish Stock Exchange, the Ukrainian government has proposed a $ 3 billion restructuring of its bonds due in 2015, and holders are invited to a meeting in London on October 14.
