The head of the Luhansk administration, Manolis Pilavov, ordered the dismantling of tram contact networks throughout the city so that they would not be stolen for scrap. This was reported in the Luhansk information center.
“Dismantle the contact networks, otherwise in six months we will be left without networks at all. Take everything to the warehouse, seal it. This is very important, ”Pilavov instructed the head of the Lugansk life support department, Igor Gaidash.
It is not known when the movement will be resumed in the regional city.
Tram traffic in Luhansk was stopped due to hostilities in July 2014.
All attempts by the new authorities to resume the launch of tram routes fail due to regular theft of the contact network.
The city administration appealed to residents with a request for help in protecting the city contact network from vandals.
