An explosion occurred near the support of a high-voltage line in the Kherson region. As the deputy chief of police of the Kherson region Ilya Kiva wrote on Facebook, the high-voltage tower damaged by the explosion supplies electricity to the territory of Crimea.
An operational investigative group is working at the scene, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has arrived, the territory is cordoned off by a battalion of MVS "Kherson".
The situation is under control, Kiva said.
As reported, since September 20, representatives of volunteer battalions, together with the Crimean Tatars, have blocked all highways to Crimea and do not allow any cargo to pass through.
Earlier, the leader of the Crimean Tatars of Crimea, Mustafa Dzhemilev, said that in addition to the transport blockade of the peninsula, activists would insist on cutting off the power supply to Crimea.
