Industrial 3D-printing was named a priority in the development of the machine-building complex in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. As one of the administration officials Yevgeny Lavrenov told the Donetsk News Agency (DAN), such technologies can incredibly reduce the time, costs and the number of specialists involved for production.
The DPR representative also noted that a number of mining enterprises will have to be re-profiled due to an oversupply. Excess companies will be able to be provided with work only if they are re-profiled for a new direction of activity.
“But in general, any machine-building enterprise can be re-profiled,” the agency's source said.
Lavrenov named the production of agricultural machinery and consumer goods (consumer goods) as one of the areas for the re-profiling of miners.
