In August, industrial production in Germany fell 1.2 percent from the previous month. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Economics and Technology of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The volume of production in the manufacturing industry in Germany in August decreased by 1.1 percent compared to the previous month, the output of capital goods - by 2.1 percent, there was also a decrease in the volume of construction and electricity generation. The production of consumer goods also declined.
Nevertheless, in an annual comparison, industrial production in Germany is growing by 2.3 percent, with analysts' expectations at 3.3 percent.
According to Bloomberg, the German economy has found itself in a difficult situation as a result of the recession in China and may go into recession due to the Volkswagen scandal, which falsified data on CO2 emissions.
Germany's central bank expects the country's GDP to grow by 1.7 percent this year and 1.8 percent next.
