As a result of two explosions in the capital of Turkey, 86 people have died, 186 people have been injured, of which 28 are in critical condition. 62 people died at the scene, and 24 died in hospital.
The explosions thundered at 10:04 am during a march organized by trade unions and public organizations of the country under the motto "Labor, Peace, Democracy."
The organizers of the demonstration planned to draw public attention to the surge in violence due to the Turkish-Kurdish conflict in the southeast of the country.
Turkish media, citing police sources, reported that the explosions were staged by suicide bombers near the railway station under the flyover, where the protesters were walking to the venue.
The explosions were classified as a terrorist attack.
In connection with the explosions, early parliamentary elections, scheduled for November 1, have been suspended for three days.
