At 10 am on Monday, the Russian company Gazprom resumed deliveries of natural gas to Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the company Alexey Miller.
The deliveries began after Gazprom received an advance payment of US $ 234 million.
According to Miller, Ukraine has requested the maximum volume of gas supplies - 52 billion cubic meters of fuel per day.
The head of Gazprom said that the prepayment was expected to be $ 500 million.
Recall that for the normal passage of the winter season without threats to withdraw transit gas, Ukraine must pump more than 19 billion cubic meters of fuel into underground storage facilities (UGS). Today, according to Naftogaz, there are about 17 billion cubic meters of storage in the UGS facility. The source of financing for filling the storage facilities with gas has not yet been determined.
