The factories of the Interpipe company of the Ukrainian billionaire Viktor Pinchuk have no debts for natural gas for industrial purposes to the NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine or its subsidiaries, the press service of the company said on Monday.
“The debts that existed in previous years have been fully repaid as of July 1, 2015. Natural gas is purchased on a prepaid basis in accordance with existing contracts, ”says Denis Morozov, Director for Economics and Finance at Interpipe.
According to the company, as of October 1, the amount of advance payment made as payment for gas supplies amounted to UAH 45 million.
“The information published in the media in early October about the company's allegedly multi-million debts for gas is false and does not correspond to reality,” Interpipe said.
Recall that on October 7, the Dnipropetrovsk edition of GAZETA.dp.ua published an article entitled “Dnipropetrovsk courts will“ warm up ”everyone," hryvnia is the Interpipe group, owned by Victor Pinchuk.
“Not fulfilling their obligations to the state company, Pinchuk’s enterprises use free money for their economic needs, that is, in fact, they use this money for free,” the Dnepropetrovsk journalists concluded.
Interpipe said that it does not owe Naftogaz anything
