In Mariupol, the prosecutor's office suspects the head of the metallurgical plant of violating safety rules

The prosecutor's office of the Illichivsk district of the city of Mariupol has approved a report on the suspicion of a person of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 272 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of safety rules during work with increased danger). This was reported in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the city of Mariupol on Tuesday.

“In the course of the pre-trial investigation, enough evidence has been collected, confirming the illegal actions of the head of a workshop of one of the metallurgical plants in the city of Mariupol. It was established that the latter had been using equipment prohibited for operation for 8 months, which created a threat of death or other serious consequences. Currently, the issue of electing the head of the workshop a preventive measure is being resolved, ”said the prosecutor of the Ilyichevsk district prosecutor’s office Yevgeny Dagli.

The pre-trial investigation of this crime is carried out by the investigative department of the Illichivsk Regional District of the Mariupol Main Directorate of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Illichivsk Region of the city of Mariupol.
