At the same time, the average daily steel production began to slow down: for 10 months - 62.9 thousand tons (for 9 months - 62.6 thousand tons), in October - 66.3 thousand tons (in September - 68.7 thousand tons ).
For 10 months from the beginning of the year, steel production in Ukraine decreased by 18.4 percent compared to the same period, to 19.117 million tons. Pig iron production in January-October decreased by 15.6 percent - to 18.065 million tons, general rolled products - by 18.6 percent - to 16.7 million tons.
Also, over 10 months, the production of metallurgical coke decreased by 25 percent - to 8.405 million tons, steel pipes - by 41.1 percent - to 705.9 thousand tons.
In 2014, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises reduced the production of general rolled products compared to 2013 by 17.7 percent - to 23.793 million tons, steel - by 16.9 percent - to 27.161 million tons, pig iron - by 14.8 percent - to 24.810 million tons. tons.
