The Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich (Ilyich Steel Plant) of Rinat Akhmetov's Metinvest Group for ten months of 2015 reduced steel production compared to the same period last year (APPG) by 26.9 percent - to 2 million 304 thousand tons. The company informed the Interfax agency about it.

The production of general rolled products decreased in the reporting period by 28.2 percent to the same period of time - to 2 million 22 thousand tons, pig iron smelting decreased by 18, 2 percent - to 3 million 29 thousand tons.

In October, MMK im. Ilyich produced 229 thousand tons of general rolled products, 245 thousand tons of steel, 355 thousand tons of pig iron, while in the previous month - 229 thousand tons of rolled products, 237 thousand tons of steel, 327 thousand tons of pig iron.

MMK them. Ilyich in 2014 reduced the output of finished metal products by 24.8 percent compared to 2013 - to 3 million 154 thousand tons, steel - by 32.4 percent - to 3 million 546 thousand tons, cast iron - by 16.7 percent - up to 4 million 217 thousand tons.
