Donetsk Research Institute of Metals will open a collection point for non-ferrous metal scrap

The plans of the Donetsk State Research and Design Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (DonNIPITsM) are to open an acceptance point for non-ferrous scrap with its subsequent processing into finished products. The director of the institute Fyodor Baryakhtar informed the Donetsk news agency (DAN) today.

“It will be both a collection point and trade in the products that we will manufacture from this recyclable material. The trading house will start working by the end of the year, ”said Viktor Reznichenko, deputy director of the institute for external economic relations.

Donetsk State Research and Design Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (DonNIPITSM) is an integrated research and design organization, state-owned, subordinate to the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine.

DonNIPITSM is the legal successor of the All-Union Research and Design Institute of Secondary Non-Ferrous Metals, established in 1968 and carrying out research and development work in the field of secondary non-ferrous metallurgy on the scale of the former USSR.

The Institute is equipped with a set of modern pilot plants for charge preparation, pyro- and hydrometallurgy, and plants for pressure treatment and drawing. At the moment, the company has managed to keep the metrological equipment. The institute has the opportunity to receive gold (999) and silver of the highest standard. DonNIPITSM employs about 100 highly qualified specialists.
