The US Federal Bureau of Investigation has agreed to help Russia investigate the causes of the crash of the A321 passenger liner in Egypt.

November 8, Washington. US investigators from the FBI will participate in the investigation into the causes of the crash of the Russian passenger airliner A321 in Egypt. This was reported in The New York Times with reference to senior US officials.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow requested the help of American detectives after the emergence of a number of new evidence of a possible terrorist attack.

According to the newspaper, the main task of the FBI will be to participate in the forensic analysis, which should establish the cause of the crash of the liner.

The Russian media have not yet officially confirmed the information about the appeal of the Russian special services to the FBI.

On October 31, the A321 airliner of the Russian airline "Kogalymavia", performing the flight Sharm el-Sheikh - St. Petersburg, crashed in Egypt. The wreckage of the plane was found in the Sinai Peninsula. Of the 224 people on board the airbus, no one survived.
