Ukrainian pipe manufacturer opens a representative office in the Emirates

PrJSC "Centravis Production Ukraine", part of the Centravis Ltd. holding, will open a permanent representative office in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Sales Director of Centravis Vyacheslav Erkes told Interfax-Ukraine at the largest oil and gas exhibition in the Middle East - ADIPEC 2015, taking place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on November 9-12.

According to him, the representative office will start working on January 1, 2016, since the UAE market is very promising for the company.

“We participated in the exhibition with our own stand for two years, and before that we took part as visitors. We started to participate with a stand last year, made a presentation of the brand as well. And from January 1, we will open an office there - we will have a permanent representative in order to improve and strengthen the quality of customer service, ”the agency's interlocutor explained.

At the same time, he noted that the company has not yet finally decided where exactly the office will be located - either in Abu Dhabi or in Dubai.

The Sales Director added that the company began to actively participate, to develop its supplies in the markets of Asia and the Middle East three years ago.

“The Asian market — we include both the Middle East and Southeast Asia — is key for us, but not yet in terms of volumes. Last year, about 10% of manufactured products were sold there, this year a little less - about 8%. But this is the most promising market for us together with America. Especially Singapore, Malaysia, Middle East, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia markets. After the sanctions were lifted, the Iranian market is also promising, ”V. Erkes stated.

At the same time, the sales director emphasized that the UAE is one of the regions of the world where activity has not fallen, demand has not decreased.

“They are still extracting, increasing production, despite the fact that the oil price has dropped. This is a region with strong demand, high requirements for pipes, as the heat, sand, high levels of chlorides in the water, and this imposes extremely high requirements on pipes. They try to choose the best. Strict requirements, but if you have proved that you can provide such products, then they buy from you, ”explained V. Erkes.

This year "Centravis" intends to sell 1% of the total production volume in the UAE. In general, in the Middle East - more than 200 tons. And in 2016 the sales plan is expected to be about 700 tons.

Holding Centravis Ltd. established on the basis of CJSC "Nikopol Plant of Stainless Tubes", service and trading companies LLC "Industrial and Commercial Enterprise" UVIS ". Its shareholders with equal shares (33.3% each) are members of the Atanasov family.
