In October, industrial enterprises of Dnepropetrovsk region produced 775 thousand tons of pig iron. This is almost 1.5 percent more than in September, finished rolled products, including reinforcement 12 mm - 690 thousand tons, which is 1 percent higher than the September indicators and iron ore - 842 thousand tons, which is 2 percent more than in the previous month. Metallurgical coke production skyrocketed by 11.4 percent.

“Metallurgists of Dnepropetrovsk region are gradually increasing their indicators. A small monthly increase in production volumes is a confident process to normalize production. The head of the region, Valentin Reznichenko, created a favorable climate in the Dnipropetrovsk region for the development of industry in general and metallurgy in particular. The Federation of Employers is convinced that the indicators of the Dnipropetrovsk region would be even higher if it were not for the planned repairs in the blast furnace production of the Dnipro Metallurgical Plant named after I. Dzerzhinsky Donetsk Corporation ISD. In October, repair work on two blast furnaces was completed here. Therefore, even better results are expected in November.
