Interpipe raised wages at its factories by 10 percent

According to Victor Pinchuk's company, this is the second increase in salaries at Interpipe since the beginning of the year. The total monthly income of the company's workers increased by 20 percent and amounted to an average of 6400 hryvnia (approximately $ 280).

Interpipe noted that wages at the company's enterprises are 48 percent higher than the average in Ukraine.

“The income growth was made possible thanks to the efforts of the company's management to stabilize the situation after the loss of the Russian sales market,” said Interpipe.

“At the beginning of the year, management promised to raise workers' incomes by 20 percent. And we are consistently fulfilling it - we have increased the income of those who create our products, ”said Oleg Rosenberg, General Director of Interpipe.

Further opportunities for the company to raise wages are largely related to the provision of production with the main raw material - scrap metal, at an economically justified price, Interpipe hinted at, noting that wages and all other payments in the company are official, accrued and paid "in-white".
