PJSC "Zaporizhstal" celebrates the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the plant

At PJSC "Zaporizhstal", within the framework of the solemn celebration of the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the plant, 57 best employees will be awarded certificates of honor, valuable gifts and a cash prize. The total amount of funds allocated for bonuses to employees amounted to more than UAH 350 thousand.

The best teams of the five workshops of the plant will be rewarded with a target bonus of UAH 20,000. to improve the material base and the life of their unit. Some labor dynasties of the plant will also be awarded with valuable gifts. Traditionally, for the holiday, the plant's veterans are paid financial assistance, the total amount of funds allocated for these purposes amounted to about UAH 250 thousand.

On the eve of the 82nd anniversary of the founding of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" in the exhibition hall "Kozak-Palace" will be held a solemn event, which will be attended by 6,000 Zaporizhstal residents and their families. During the celebration, the best workers and veterans of the plant will be honored. The program of the festive evening for families of Zaporizhstal residents will be full of bright events and competitions, more than 20 active recreation areas for adults and children of employees will be organized: art and clay workshops, a flower studio, anvil, wood carving, rollerdrome and other entertainment. The final of the holiday will be a concert with the participation of Arsen Mirzoyan, and at the end of the holiday the audience will see a spectacular fire show.

The date of foundation of the plant is counted from the first ton of pig iron, which was produced on November 16, 1933 at blast furnace No. 1. The smelting was carried out by the furnaces Volodyan and Perelyubsky under the leadership of chief master Basharov. Throughout its history, the blast furnace shop of PJSC Zaporizhstal has smelted more than 220 million tons of pig iron. Now three Honored Metallurgists of Ukraine work in the blast-furnace shop - senior foreman Valeriy Ostrykh, senior shift foreman Alexander Nikolaev, and mechanical engineer Vyacheslav Gontar.
