General Director of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" Paramzhit Kalon was elected a Member of the Management Board of the European Business Association. This decision was made at the General Meeting of the Association members on November 17, 2015 in Kiev. During the election of the Management Board, CEOs of European Business Association member companies took part in the online voting.

The Board of the European Business Association bears overall responsibility for the strategy and activities of the Association, as well as for the management of the executive staff of the Association. Election of the Board is held in accordance with the Charter of the Association, Internal Rules and Procedures of the European Business Association.

The European Business Association was founded in 1999 as a forum for discussing and solving problems faced by business in Ukraine. The European Business Association is the leading international business organization in Ukraine and unites about 900 European, Ukrainian and international companies.

The elections of the Board are held annually within the framework of the General Meeting of the Association members. Only full members of the Association can be elected to the Board and to the post of President of the European Business Association. The members of the Board shall be elected for a term of two years, with the assumption that the Board shall be represented by no more than three representatives from the same industry and no more than three representatives of the same nationality.
